Pope Francis has decided that 2025 will be a year of Jubilee - something which happens every 25 years.
With the theme “Pilgrims of Hope,” the Jubilee will offer people across our global family of faith a very important opportunity to re-establish a proper relationship with God, with one another, and with all of creation.
The beginning of the Holy Year was marked by the celebration of Mass in every Cathedral Church in the world two weeks ago (Sunday 29th December), with Mass at Arundel Cathedral celebrated by Bishop Richard.
In order for everyone to share in the celebration of the Holy Year, the following diocesan churches have been designated as special places of pilgrimage, where Holy Year Indulgences may be gained:
Arundel Cathedral, Arundel BN18 9AY
Worth Abbey, Crawley, RH10 4SB
St Joseph’s, Guildford, GU1 4AZ
